Journal of Aquaculture Research

Aquaculture is the farming of aquatic organisms such as fish, prawns, molluscs, and aquatic plants related directly or indirectly to human consumption. The journal provides an Open Access platform devoted to cultivate freshwater and saltwater populations under controlled conditions, and can be contrasted with commercial fishing.

Journal of Aquaculture Research & Development publishes research, review, short commentary related to freshwater aquaculture, brackish water aquaculture, marine aquaculture & their relation to human consumption. The Journal also includes research & production in fish farming, nutritional supplements in aquaculture & role of environment in relation with aquaculture.
This scientific journal is using Editorial Manager® System for quality in peer review process. This top best scholarly journal is using Editorial Manager® System for online manuscript submission, review and tracking. Editorial board members of the journal or outside experts review manuscripts; at least two independent reviewer’s approval followed by the editor is required for the acceptance of any citable manuscript.

Aquaculture

Aquaculture is also known as fish farming. It involves the growth, development and multiplication of flora and fauna which are found to grow in aquatic environment. It is also involved in the production of seafood.

Aquaculture Nutrition

Aquaculture nutrition has a vital contribution in the sustainable development of the ecosystem. The main objective of aquaculture nutrition is to certain the balanced food portions which should composed of fishmeal and marine oils at an average rate.

Aquatic Physiology

The term aquatic physiology deals with the morphology and function of the various parts of the animals and plants that inhabit the aquatic ecosystem. The structural and physiological information helps to study the effect of environmental stress conditions on the aquatic inhabitats.

*2016 Journal Impact Factor was established by dividing the number of articles published in 2014 and 2015 with the number of times they are cited in 2016 based on Google search and the Scholar Citation Index database. If 'X' is the total number of articles published in 2014 and 2015, and 'Y' is the number of times these articles were cited in indexed journals during 2016 then, impact factor = Y/X
